Eevee was an owner surrender because her family lost their home and had to move in with family who had a house full of animals. she’s extremely friendly and loving and would thrive in any home environment

I started volunteering with the local rescue at our cities Petsmart, being homeschooled I had no friends nor a social life so I dedicated 19 hours a day 7 days a week to working with the rescue, getting to know all the animals and learning what it meant to be a rescuer from the founder himself. He helped me unlock my natural instinct and abilities to understand animals, and to help rehabilitate them so they could find their forever home. The founder quickly became family. I spent more time with the rescue and all the animals going on missions than I did at home with my own family and they supported everything because they knew it was a calling.

May 20, 2022 my godmother did the unthinkable. I was finally renting to own the rescue ranch and sanctuary that I grew up on. I assumed everything was done legit (we had a contract). I paid my rent regularly on time, and I even gave her extra when we were in a good financial position because I knew that she was struggling financially. my dream and my goal was to restore the rescue ranch after Jeanette Portocarrero destroyed it, I worked part time as security, and I often took on jobs to raise money that was needed to restore the property to its former glory. I paid for everything out of pocket. It wasn’t easy but I loved this place and the founder left it to me in his will. I should have known that since she had the will legally changed so that she would inherit everything he left behind. She would do something like this, but I had faith that caring for these animals and giving them the second chance they deserved was more important to her than money. She filed an illegal restraining order to get me ripped off the property and took possession of all of my animals, both personal and all of the animals in my rescue. The police and animal control did nothing to help me. There were no laws protecting me. I tried to have the restraining order dropped so I could recover my animals as well as the rescue animals on the property, but I was not allowed to present my evidence that everything was done illegally in court due to the severity of the allegations without proof. Because I was young and she was elderly. They awarded her the elder abuse restraining order on the ground that she was afraid I would do something to harm her if she asked me to leave her property that I was legally renting to own. I had paperwork and documents, and I had a recording of her and the people she hired to break into the property, steal my animals and trash my home. I had never been in trouble with the law before and I had never gone to court before this day and I have been fighting to get representation so I could get this restraining order dropped and recover what’s left of my animals that were taken from me. Among those animals taken was my State licensed and certified medical service dog, who is not legally allowed to leave my side, my first dog is an adult who is now 11 years old my horse, that I purchased from a rescue because she was aggressive and pregnant and scared, and she was my first horse as an adult And a few others that were near and dear to me . I did love the rescue ranch and sanctuary, but not more than I loved my animals. I could always restart and rebuild somewhere else, but my animals were irreplaceable and I will never stop fighting until we’re reunited.

My mission will always be to give those in need that were discarded, abandon, abused, and neglected The second chance they so desperately deserve. those who just needed more time to find a forever family and it is my deepest goal to match each family with the dog that suits their family dynamic. I of all people understand that life can throw unexpected curveballs that you’re not prepared for but it doesn’t mean these four-legged angels don’t deserve the absolute best life we could give them in the short amount of time they are here with us. Although my family is broken, it is my deepest wish to complete yours.

As a Solo Rescuer, my biggest obstacle has always been finding a stable place to call our sanctuary. My goal, and my dream is to find a safe place to call our rescues sanctuary, a place nobody could take away from us, a safe place where these animals can spend the rest of their lives Happy and safe while awaiting their forever home. Our goal for 2024 is to find that safe haven, so that No kill shelters can go back to being no kill shelters instead of euthanizing to free up space. to give those in desperate need of one on one rehabilitation that opportunity so that they can become the animals they were always meant to be . Rescue has been my life for the last 22 years and I don’t intend on stopping anytime soon I have dedicated my entire life to being there for those who need me The most, but in giving up things that normal people couldn’t fathom I have gained a true sense in what I was put on this earth to do, and I hope by continuing my journey, rehabilitating and educating people we can somehow make the world a better place for these four-legged angels.

As a solo rescuer of over two decades, it has been difficult for me to ask for help. I have always relied on my own Hardwork, blood, sweat and tears to provide everything for my rescue animals. As a vet tech, I started offering low income families all over southern California veterinary services that were affordable to them, because it is my deepest belief that everyone should have access to veterinary medicine for their fur babies as long as they love and care for them they should not be denied because of outrageous veterinary prices
In 2024 I want to offer more services to help those that will eventually help the rescue animals so I have started training classes for new pet owners, and pre-existing Pet owners, and these services are not limited to people who adopt from my rescue. These classes are for everyone. These classes will also be one on one, but your family is encouraged to be part of it. I will also be creating a YouTube channel for all of my rescues so that you can see how they are and often get a firsthand look on their journey in the rescue. We will also be offering sponsorships so you can sponsor an adoptable dog, and your donation will go directly to their care and well-being and vetting until they are adopted and you will get exclusive pictures and videos of the animal you were sponsoring as well as first opportunity to adopt if you were interested in adopting, but even if you’re not interested in adopting sponsoring will still be welcomed!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission!
